(Composed for the Moon Festival golf event at our legendary Riversdale Golf Club in Australia on Sept 5, 2025. )

At dawn we met for a friendly test,
On fast rolling greens we gave our best.
A white ball, a token of lunar grace,
A Scottish game celebrated with mooncakes.
East or West, same rules and same etiquette
Buddhists or Christians, same ultimate quest.
East and West, they said, shall never meet.
But here we join, together and complete.
